Her father, a miner, was born in Palermo, Me.; her mother was born in Plymouth, England. Her husband, Del Babb (b. 1856), was the photographer's brother-in-law and boss weaver, assistant superintendent, and assistant treasurer of the Knox Woolen Company in Camden.
